Inoxa at SICAM 2026: Interview with Alberto Bartolucci

From October 20 to 23, the 2026 edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-Finished Products, and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, took place. Inoxa participated as an exhibitor, marking an important opportunity to engage with clients, present new products, and observe industry trends. We interviewed Alberto Bartolucci, head of sales, communication, and marketing.

1. Alberto, let’s talk about SICAM 2026: what kind of discussions did you have this year, and what impressed you most about the visitors and the people you met?

It was a positive edition. We had the opportunity to meet with customers and business partners, as well as to establish contact with many new prospects. These meetings are important because they help us understand what the market is looking for and what companies need. We noticed a strong interest in practical, well-made products that offer something new, such as Elevia and Quinta.

2. Elevia and Quinta were among the key highlights of this edition. What were the initial ideas behind the development of these two new solutions?

Elevia and Quinta stem from two different ideas, each designed to meet specific needs in the kitchen sector. We worked to turn these ideas into two new products, and the initial feedback from customers has been positive.

3. Elevia and Quinta address very different needs. From the perspective of Inoxa’s design philosophy, what do they have in common?

They share the same approach that guides our work. When developing a product, we always aim to combine practicality, quality and attention to detail. For us, an accessory should not be developed simply because it is new, but because it offers real value and is genuinely useful. We want our products to be easy to use, reliable over time and easy to install.

4. How important is the exchange between market feedback and the expertise Inoxa has developed internally over the years when creating a new product?

It is very important. Listening to our customers helps us understand their needs, while the experience we have gained over the years allows us to find the right solutions. These two elements must go hand in hand. Having a good idea is not enough: we also need to be able to turn it into a product that works well and meets the real needs of the market. It is through this exchange that the best ideas emerge.

5. Looking at the demands emerging from the furniture industry today, which features do you think will become increasingly important in home systems and accessories?

I believe making the most of available space and making homes more comfortable and functional will become increasingly important. Accessories will need to help people organise their spaces more effectively, be easy to use and integrate seamlessly into furniture. Quality and long-term durability will also remain essential. The goal is to offer products that make everyday life easier without compromising on design or attention to detail.

6. Following this edition of SICAM, did any particular need or topic emerge from your meetings that you think could influence Inoxa’s future developments?

Our meetings once again highlighted the importance of listening to customers and understanding their needs. Every company has different requirements and looks for products that can help improve its offering. That is why we must continue engaging with the market and developing solutions that increasingly meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

7. Following SICAM 2026, what do you think will be the biggest challenge for a company like Inoxa in the coming years?

The main challenge will be to continue growing and innovating while maintaining the quality and customer focus that have always set us apart. The market is constantly changing, and we need to be ready to respond to new demands without losing sight of our experience and values. We will need to keep improving our products, developing new ideas and working closely with our customers to find the most suitable solutions. Our goal is to remain a reliable partner, supporting our customers as they grow and develop their own products.
