< backClaudio Rossi, Painting Department Manager
We interviewed Claudio Rossi, our Painting Department Manager, who told us about his work at Inoxa.
-
Can you tell us about what your role is and what you do?
I’m the manager of the painting department. In particular, this consists in managing resources and organizing processes in the best possible way. We therefore start from the identification of the various products to be painted, and then move on to identifying the combination of parameters to be set so that the processes are optimized and a quality product is obtained. -
Can you tell us about your journey at Inoxa and how you came to become Manager of the Painting Dept?
My journey at Inoxa began in June 2013: for a few months I held roles within other departments, before finally ending up, due to company needs, in the painting department.
I was immediately passionate about the activities carried out in this department and this allowed me to put the experience acquired over time at the service of my colleagues. The company recognized my skills and offered me the management of the department which I accepted with enthusiasm.
-
What were the biggest challenges you faced in your work and how did you overcome them?
The biggest challenge I faced was to pass on my knowledge and train the colleagues with whom I now collaborate and, with the help of the company, to have formed a close-knit and collaborative team. -
And what were the greatest satisfactions?
One of my greatest satisfactions is being able to contribute, by using my experience and knowledge, to the creation of a product that combines quality, aesthetics and functionality. -
What are the values that guide you in your work and that you share with the company?
The values that guide me in my work are the same that guide me in everyday life: the reliability and commitment I put into everything I do, the collaboration with my colleagues and the dialogue with the company. -
Have there been significant changes in the painting industry lately and how have you adapted to these evolutions?
In recent years there has been an increase in the demand for new finishes, along with an evolution in the furniture sector. The need to satisfy these new customer needs has led to a big change in my department, the company has in fact decided to invest in new, more cutting-edge equipment, which allows us to manage a big amount of finishes in less time, improving quality.
-
What are the future goals of the Painting Dept and what improvements or innovations are you planning?
One of the future goals for the department will be to respond effectively as always to company requests, aimed at producing more cutting-edge items to be introduced on the international market.
Furthermore, the company is considering making investments in new technical solutions that will allow us to optimize and improve working conditions and product quality.
